About Us
The Scottish Childminding Association (SCMA) is the only organisation dedicated to supporting childminders in Scotland. Our aim is to promote childminding as a quality childcare service. We do this in part by helping SCMA childminders to be the best they can be. Our Vision: “Quality childminding… building confident children within a family childcare experience.” Around 80% of Scotland’s childminders are members of SCMA. As a member, you’ll be part of something bigger than your own business.
